GlaceGrafix, LLC, and Premier Technology Solutions have combined forces to assist Caribbean nations.

"Simple Idea Pulls Caribbean Together - Lucians & Jamaicans Giving Back"

In keeping with the recurring theme and migration to a “One Caribbean – One People” concept, Premier Technology Solutions, Inc. (http://www.ptsolutioninc.com) in conjunction with GlaceGrafix, LLC, (http://www.glacegrafix.com) are sponsors of a global project that is geared to support the overall well-being of the citizens in the islands of the Caribbean.  The LHL Project – Lucians Helping Lucians and The JHJ Project – Jamaicans Helping Jamaicans are being spearheaded by these two companies. 

The basic concept is that islanders living abroad can play an active role in contributing to the lives and well being of fellow citizens living at home.  The aim is to improve the social and economic position by identifying the critical needs of various communities, and projects currently being undertaken by community groups within the islands to assist these communities.  A website is set up for each island, where there is a listing of all the participating organizations and their particular projects being run in the country.  Users of the site can then opt to select which organization they would like to contribute to and what form of contribution they can give.  The best thing about this project is that one is not restricted to just contributing financially to these organizations.  They can also contribute by volunteering their time or resources, (e.g., books, office/computer equipment and clothing) – anything that would improve the overall lives and well being of a community.  Many of us are not aware of all the many organizations that are set up for this sole purpose in our island homes.  By making this information readily available via the web, gives us the access needed to set things in motion in making a difference in people’s lives.

The two entrepreneurs – Christopher Kerr, originally from Jamaica and Keitha Glace from St. Lucia respectively, had this to say about this initiative: “We are committed to contributing to our fellow islanders by utilizing, technology, resources, expertise and business acumen.  By pooling our resources, we can affect transformation at a greater rate throughout the Caribbean region.  We encourage all others who are capable of doing likewise, to embrace the opportunity that this offers to help each other in becoming a united community. Remember – TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.”

In giving you receive.  That is in fact true with this program.  This project is scheduled to be rolled out across the region.  We are looking for committed participants from all the islands to spearhead similar projects.  We are also open to receiving sponsorship and welcome all enquiries for this undertaking.  We are dedicated to playing a major role in setting up the infrastructure for these projects within each of the islands.
